I learn. I develop.

This is the second of two lead-up articles to How Blockchains Work, which will explain the foundation of blockchain-based technologies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Stay tuned for it! In the meantime, read this and my post on cryptographic hash functions.

So... I finally switched IPs.

I decided to create a time-lapse screen recorder as a side project. Mostly for fun, but also to see how I spend my work days.

A few people getting started in web development have asked me to explain HTML to them. HTML (along with CSS) is one of those things where the basics can be explained in a few minutes, and the details will take the rest of your life to learn. Let me show you what those basics are, and then where to go for the details.

This is a lead-up article to How Blockchains Work that I will publish soon. Cryptographic hash functions are vital to the blockchain, so I'm writing this to give a little bit of background. However, these functions are useful in so many applications, that it merits its own explanation.
